This is a bull I got in Wyoming in 2000. It was taken in Nov on a self guided hunt. I hunted both public and private ground. Found a rancher that let us hunt for 300 bucks got to love wyoming. Shot him sleeping in his bed on the last afternoon of the season. Had made up my mind to shoot any elk I saw and got very lucky to find this old guy as he had not a tooth left in his head

This is my wifes bull she shot in California on a very hard to get draw tag. It was killed on the coast range and you could see the ocean in some spots. It was taken in Sept. with a 270. It was really awsome to hunt rut crazed bulls with a rifle almost like it should be against the law.(For everybody but me Haha) This bull will make the all time B&C book pretty cool.Self guided. Private land but anybody that has a tag can hunt it.

This is a bull I got in Nov of 2004. Got him in the same area as the first Wyoming bull. Found him running with a huge herd and he was the best in the group shot him with the 30-378 right behind the ear standing there looking around. I watched him for 10 min. trying to make up my mind as it was the first day of a week long hunt. I thought if I could get him in the ear i would take him well i was off buy 2 inches. I was very happy with my choice after he hit the ground. Later in the week i saw one much bigger but thats hunting elk in the wild. Was self guided on public and private ground paid the rancher 400 bucks this time.

I posted this bull before but here he is again. Got him in Idaho this last season 2005. Shot him with a Old style muzz in late Nov. I hunted 10 days and 2 trips out of state to get this guy. Had a blast but a very hard hunt but it paid of great. He will make it in the muzz book with some room to spare. PUBLIC LAND Selfguided Just got to love hunting. Thought this Pics might get you guys jacked up for the hunting season. I have not drawn anything yet but got alot of them still to come.

You are on a great roll. I like that top Wyoming bull the best, but sure wouldn't pass on any of them. Great to see this kind of self-guided success.

Awesome collection of great trophies,Congrat's to you & the Misses!!!

No Gut's...No Story!!!

I shoot for the ear because if I hit him it was going to be lights out and if I missed O well. Like I said it wasn't the bull I drove 18 hours to shoot on the first day but after he hit the ground I was a happy boy. Thanks for the nice words and who is jacked up for this season because I know I am. Now if I can only draw a TAG!
