Has anyone here hunted 21 during the late seasons? I hunted it with a bow last year, but I don't think that's going to help me find the elk in late November. I've done some predator hunting there in Dec. and Jan. but didn't see elk or much elk sign to go with. I know the names of places and where the public and private land lies pretty well.
I'm mostly interested in finding a bull since I'll have an archery cow tag this year too. I think the bigger bulls will be a bit higher up than most of the cows and smaller bulls but roughly what elevation might I find them? Will they be in the oak brush and pinyon/juniper, or down in the canyons?
Anything anyone wants to share would be great, and I'd be happy to trade some info on the early seasons in 21/30 and 41/42/421/52, LE or general elk on the Manti and Wasatch in Utah, SE Utah deer, or fishing in Utah and Western CO.
