$250 for a tag in Colorado. If you can't kill a cow here you're just not trying.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing. They want too much for LO cow tags here in New Mexico. Maybe drive North instead.
Gotta wait and see those draw results first. Maybe I'll get to hunt bulls for $89.00, which sounds a lot better to me.

Where do you live???? Gas is going to be a big consideration... In, NM you can get cow tags for $200 for LO..

I just thought it would be like pay for a tag on a reservation
pay a indian $100 and shoot a cow on the road!
thats how some friends did it 3 yrs ago in Utah by the Bookcliff!

Indians and the Bookcliffs-why does that sound bad. Does any one know if the rumor I heard about over harvesting or over selling elk out of the Bookcliffs was true?
