what is the non res % for max draw in Az

LAST EDITED ON Jun-06-06 AT 05:27PM (MST)[p]I would stongly recommend against it. Unless you are the top three with points. Highly unlikely. Not only that, but with 25 tags, nonresidents will only get a max of 2, so there is no possibility of getting three non-resident tags. If there are not enough tags to go around to all in the group, nobody gets one and they move on to the next applicant.

Looks like early rifle bull. If your a resident it is possible to draw with three on a application. Non-resident probably not possible.

with the AZ system, and 3 guys on your app, unless you have over 10 points each, or are trying for some of the worst tags, you have no chance.

For NR, 3 on 1 app is suicide for AZ. Even 2 is tough, reason is most hunts will have no tags for NR without max pnts, a very very few might let 1 tag trickle down, 2 tags unheard of. Thus having anyone on your app is a sure thing - to get a point only!

With the 10% Non-resident cap these guys are right, it looks like you have exactly 0% chance at drawing with three on one application for non-resident tags, no matter how many point you have. I also bet you're looking at an early rifle bull hunt and recommend you each apply separately. That way if one of you get lucky enough to somehow draw a tag, the others should go along and help and all will have an experience to remember for a long time! Good luck on the draw!

thanks guys,

yes I was looking at the early rifle. Points are getting up there and I would hate to miss a shot at a premium tag. We decided to stick with the archery tags.

RE: thanks guys,

If your points are up there then put early rifle first choice and archery second or late rifle.
