For anyone interested here is a project near Mt St Helens. I was looking at these elk on Saturday. I think I am going to go.

Anticipated Number of Volunteers Needed: As many as possible
Meals Provided: none
Special Equipment Needed: clippers, shovels, gloves etc. for removing scotch broom
Rally Point: 3100 road off of SR 504 Spirit Lake Hwy
Special Instructions: Meet at 3100 road at 9 AM. Group will caravan down to mudflow from locked gate at 3100 road. 3100 road is 31 miles west on SR504 from exit 49 off of I-5. Contact Dan Howell for any questions and to let him keep track of how many will assist. Dan will be out of town 6/17 to 23, but will answer e-mail during that time.
