Colorado tags

Does anyone know how Colorado runs their landowner tags?
What seasons do they cover?
Good for archery, muzzleloader or rifle seasons?

Each voucher is good for only the type of weapon it was drawn for. Either archery, rifle or muzzle loader. You can't choose once you get the voucher.

Good Luck!

Are the vouchers unit specific?
Are they good only on the landowners property?

Really?
I though the only big change is that the landowner has to allow access as a condition of accepting the LO voucher. I have not heard a thing about them changing it to be good on LO land only.

There are 2 types of vouchers. One type is good only for private land (PLO tags). Others, the ones that have made the press, are good unit wide, including public land. These are good for the private land they were issued for, AND the public unit wide.

However, this year, supposedly the landowner MUST allow you access to hunt their private land too. We will see how it pans out.

venor, ergo sum (I hunt, therefore I am)

only good for private land,
and privet land only.
and you must be on private land.
you better have talked adn got primision from a private land owner prior to purchasing these,
its not a tag to tresspass,
tresspass and you loose.

Why is there still so much confusion about CO PLO and landowner vouchers? They're two very different types of licenses. It seems that even those who think they know what's going on are confused. C'mon folks, it's not that confusing. Those spreading bad information just make it worse.

you can not hunt public land on a plo tag.
but it is good for any privet land you get permision to hunt on.
the rancher does "not" have to let you hunt on his land,

well this thread really clears things up.

Just received an e-mail from Colorado D.O.W.
Says if the hunt code on the voucher has a "P", then it is
private land only. If it has an "O", then it is good for public
and private. Hope this clears up some confusion. Thanks for
the input.
