Looking for NM Unit 48 info

I was lucky enough to draw an Elk tag in unit 48. This will be my first time hunting there so I got some work to do. There is a lot of private land so my first trip will be to Holman?s to pick up a few maps. Any info on the area would be appreciated.

i drew 2 years ago, and killed nice 5x6 bull first day of hunt..yes lots of private land, i hunt more north of grulla canyon!

many hunters like to go Red Lake and White Peak..
