Hey guys just snooping around for any info or ideas on the Preserve that I can find as it is killing me knowing I am going to be bowhunting such an awesome place that I know nothing about. Hoping to get to talk to somebody that has archery hunted there and hear the do's and don'ts from there experience as it is kind of a once in a lifetime deal. Already have gotten some guide brochures in the mail(they are quick) but am planning on a do it ourselves hunt. Probably flying down and moteling it close by, any ideas on that? What kind of weather to expect and best camo the list goes on and on...sleepless nights its terrible!! If you want pm me ,my email has changed and I need to update it but not sure how. nwhunter

Archery hunt is still tough.

You will draw what area the day before the hunt. The people there will give you ideas on where the elk usually hang.

Buddy killed a 320 bull on archery hunt 2 years ago.

He drew again this year ! Lucky turd.

His plans are installing blinds and treestands on some key routes and water for getting in during the mid day. - mornings and evenings will be for calling.
