Hunting the Colin Neblett WMA in NM?

I was wondering if any of you have hunted the Colin Neblett wildlife management area near Eagle Nest, New Mexico. It is located near the Cimarron Canyon in Unit 52. I drew in to hunt the south side during the first gun season, Oct. 7-11. I noticed that the governor of NM failed to get drawn to hunt elk this year. His last choice was the Colin Neblett! The little guy wins! Any info. would be appreciated.

Colin Neblett WMA is not in Unit 52. It is in unit 54. I hope this makes planning a little easier.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL THE STATE PARK SERVICE IF YOU DREW THE SOUTHERN HALF. I THINK THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET IN ACROSS THEIR LAND NOW THAT THEY OWN EAGLES NEST LAKE.
