to those of you whom have responded to and sent me e-mails and pm's regarding my picture posting on MM, i would like to take this opportunity to express to you my deepest appreciation. as i have said before, i am lucky enough to find myself in a situation where i can 'go' all the time, and of course, i love doing it. i know many of you can't get away as much as you would like, so i hope my pictures help make your day a little brighter, till you, too, can get 'on the mountain'...most of you already know that you are the reason i drag my sorry arse out of bed at 3 in the morning, just because i know that i might 'catch' that picture that puts a smile on your face, or a dream in your mind, that you too were there, and you too, saw that beautiful animal, or bird, or shed, or whatever else we find 'up there'...until you can go, i will keep going for you, and for me....i hope, i hope, i hope...

LAST EDITED ON Jul-10-06 AT 01:54PM (MST)[p]LF, you are most appreciated as always!
Did you end up drawing a WY speed goat tag? Or anything else?
We have a few more weeks to wait on the WA. draws.
Again I thank you, and hope to be able to go like you do one day.
Scott

lf-
I believe the thanks go to you! I don't post often, but sure do enjoy your pictures. Keep up the good work.

Geez...after reading the first half of that post it almost sounded like a farewell post! Like they say in the Fire Dept...."you go, I go!" With out a doubt the first thing I check when I log on here! Especially for me since I've been going up around that area since I was just a kid, so I really feel like I was there at times. :) Thanks 'lf'!

BTW...how about that WY. draw? What unit(s) did you put in for?

......I want to be 'littlefoot' when I grow up! :)

AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR TAKING US WITH YOU WHEN YOU GO. YOU MAKE IT A LITTLE BIT EASIER TO TAKE WORK, WHEN YOUR STUCK IN THE OFFICE. KEEP UP THE GOOD PICTURE TAKING AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT SET.

Ditto on the Thanks!!! I always check for your posts when I log on. No need to wonder how much growth the bulls have around this time of year. Or when the bulls are sheding. Your posts have actually taught me a lot about Elk. So keep it up. I enjoy it!!!

I really love the pictures you put up. I hope you enjoy takeing them as much as I enjoy looking at and thinking about them. Thank you

LF, you're gathering shwack loads of good Karma by supporting our outdoor addictions! You're posts are some of the best!

Thanks buddy!

Littlefoot, I check everyday and I do appreciate your hard work on our behalf. I was happy for you when you drew that tag and filled it.
I live about two hours west of you and am always amazed at how many elk you see. Plus the quality of the photography is outstanding.
Pray that God continues to bless you with many years with your son and grandchildren in this happy pursuit.

For those of us that at times have to live through someone else's eyes (pictures) due to unseen or even planned events, my hat is off to you. Very few of us get a chance or take the opportunity to make someone elses lives better, but you always seem to hold yourself to the highest regards on this site and that is rare to see. You are able to show us what this site can really be.

Who should be thanking who?!?!?!
I am one of those that you are referring to that can't be out there looking at what you get to, but I can live through you, through your eyes, and through your camera.
So........THANK YOU littefoot!!!!!!!

LF, I look forward to everyone of your new posts. The pictures bring back memories of days gone buy. I grew up just over the hill from you and now live on the wet side and don't get over there near enough. Your pictures bring me back to the good old days and times we had in that country. I can't thank you enough, Steve

My thoughts exactly
thank you for keeping me daydreaming at work when i should be working.

I'm right there with the rest of these guys littlefoot, I can't be out there very much, and seeing your pictures often does bring a smile to my face (sometimes not so much a smile but a gaping mouth when you pick up a big shed or get a picture of a huge bull). So, THANK YOU!

RE: wishing to THANK YOU...back!

Littlefoot,
You and your photos are one of the main reasons I keep coming back and checking the site.
You are what is good about this site. With your photos here to look at, a guy can stand to ignore some of the other crap that goes on here.
I say Thanks to you, for your desire to share your daily trips and enjoyment of the outdoors with all of us who still have to drag our butts to work every day, just waiting for the time we can turn into our own version of "littlefoot"!!!
Thanks again!!
Rick

Wow what would we do with out the life of pictures????/ It really makes my day to see the beauty even if it on my screen at work!! It keeps the hope alive that on my two days off I can get a little chance to do the same. I look every day at the photos and enjoy everyone of them. I too will get to take some photos some day, when I retire!!! God Bless you keep up the photo shoots!! Love to hunt but love those live pictures!
Thanks

LF,
It is awesome what you do. I wish I was half as skilled as a photographer. I can't seem to get it right, but I will get there.

BTW, tell us all the truth, these bulls are from Idaho, right? Right!!

Thanks!
