Unit 10 Bull Elk

Anybody out there put in for unit 10?? any stories to share about past hunting trips??? I can't wait for the bad news!!!

I assume you are talking about Arizona Unit 10, Lot of land, Lots of Elk and every once in a while you will find a really big one, There are not 350+ around every corner but there are some nice ones.

John, I have mine pretty muched tied to a tree there. I have scouted that year for 4 years now and havent got a tag yet. Maybe Ill get lucky this year. If I get bad news again its ok cause I getting used to it.

Bulls in unit 10? HA!!! Don't waste your time!! Go somewhere else. There are bigger elk in 6A, 6B, 5A and B!!! Unit 10 is a great place for cow hunts, but not bulls!!!

I am disagree with all of those that have been feeding the wrong info. There are bulls in 10. I have been drawn in that unit for cow elk for the last 2 years and I have seen nothing but bulls on the first and second days of the hunt. Some in the 350-380 range. They are in there, you just got to be willing to look in places others won't. There are bulls in 9 too. I will agree that there really aren't any in 8 since all I see are cows. Hope this helps.

lol.. yeah no bulls in 8... hmm Franklin??? and that bull last year grossed over 460???? LOL.. but yeah... your right there are no bulls in AZ... if you do find one the best you can hope fore is 280 - 290.....i think everyone should put in for NM or UT... no wait Washington had that 421 bull in 03.... thats the ticket.....

I had a unit 10 deer tag last year. Everyday of the hunt we saw bulls. We saw 3 or 4 bulls that would score over 350. Deer hunting was bad but if we had an elk tag we would have tagged out opening day.

I need to dig up some unit 10 muley pictures from 10 years ago.

anyway yeah I agree a guy could find a 375 plus class bull .

If you look hard enough, wonder if this drought is going to stunt horn growth?

Its tough to find bucks in there unless you have one tied to a tree. Had a buddy that saw a bull that would go 370 now and he estimated it would get to 400 by the end of August. Its pretty close to where you sent your boys.

Awesome!!! Hey Donnie I saw a nice bull in unit 10 where I been hoping for and this boys antlers went all the way back to his rear. I saw his over 550 yds away and I saw it with the naked eye. Im not that good in field scoring but he was the biggest I've ever seen period.
