Went for a hike this morning and found these at 40 yards. Come on September! Public land bulls. One definately made it on my list of shooters.

Yeah right Zigga, thats a photo shop job if ive ever seen one! Everyone knows there are no bulls of that caliber in this area! LOL Kidding of course, awesome pics! I havent drawn any permits thus far, so now its down to the super secret deer HD in the Bitterroots and rifle elk in the breaks. Keep the pics coming!

Great pictures ! Those bulls are pretty high, will they move lower or are you hunting tree lines come Sept.Our area is pretty much elk free right now , but the first bow hunt(Seot 1-15) the pressure will push em in.

There will be elk all over until the snow flies in November. These pics were just over 9,000 feet. I think the bugs help get them there.
