2006 Elk with a bow?

If all your hunting plans fell through, what you do for guided archery elk hunt this year? Looking for a 325+ bull with a 3-5k budget.
Wait for a cancellation hunt? Any recommendations?

Pick up a landowner tag! Plenty of them on this site. Make sure that they give some guidance ie where the bull rutting areas are. Hopefully,they will let you hunt good private ground. My opinion, not necessary to guide you if you can bring a friend and double team bulls and have some time (atleast 10 days). Read info, and buy good boots and optics. Then, run and gun with the elk, NM is good for that.
