"Elk Soap"

Nothing like lathering yourself up in elk piss. That is a great idea if you want to be eaten. The actual elk piss that comes in a bottle highly discourages putting it on your body since it can also be an attractant to bears, cougars and horny bulls.

I can see it in the headlines Breaking news, hunter used elk piss scented soap and gets eaten by bear.

If you want to get up close and personal with a bull I say go for it.

Last year while archery elk hunting, I returned to camp after hunting all day. I always take my camo off and hang it in a tree next to my tent. I had been using those h.s. scent cow urine waffers and left one pinned to my camo pants. At about 2 am, I am awakened by a bull bugling a few hundred yards away. He keeps getting closer and closer until he is in camp! I could hear his joints in his legs crack as he walked aroud my tent screaming for over an hour. Made me nerves as hell. I finally got out of the tent and started yelling at him, waving my arms trying to run him off so I could sleep in peace. He finally walked off bugling the whole time. He just couldnt figure out where that cow he was smelling was! That elk didnt care about all of the human scent in my camp, only the waffer. I would never put that soap on myself after that experiance. I even quit using those stinky waffers!

I have to say, if you have not used it it would be difficult to disclaim it. I have used the cow elk estrus soap for the past two seasons and will never leave home with out it again.

I have shot my last 2 bull with in 15 yards. Each bull circled us and came in the back door where we had just walked. When you see a bull hit the scent line you just walked and turn and walk right at you, it will blow you right away.

When hunting with polar fleece and it warms up I pulll my coat off and then my shirt smells like a cow elk in heat, not like a stinky human that has been hiking for hours.

I highly suggest this soap to give you that little edge.

If you are scared of mountain lions or a bull mounting you, then maybe you should be hunting from a vehicle. It is part of the game. Beating the animals in their own environmnet and this product gives you the edge.

When I get back to camp at night I just use baby wipes to descent myself and have not had any problems. Not even a smelly sleeping bag. Keeping yourself clean is part of the archery game. If you do not bath after a day in the forest hunting..you stink.
