We took this bull in 12 NM 2 yrs ago. We don't know how to score him because he has 3 seperate horn pedastals! If anyone can tell me how to score him I would appreciate it.

I'm not an official scorer but I believe you can't enter an animal into the books with three horns. But if I were you I would just measure up all the points and call it the gross score.

It doesn't really matter as that is an awesome bull and one to be very proud of.

Thanks for sharing,

I will have to check and see. But the right side has two in-line peds. The bull would actualy shed three horns! I guess that would confuse people!

I am an OM for Boone & Crockett and three antlered animals are not accepted. I would agree with IdahoBugler and just add everything up for a conversation score.

I am not worried about net and all that but how many mass measurements would there be?

Always a total of 8 mass measurements regardless of the # of points or even main beams.

I would go 4 on each of the primary main beams and none on the non-typical 3rd main beam.

That's a nice bull. Regardless of the score.
*edit..that's a SUPER BULL!

the problem I am having is there is no definate primary beam on the right side. All three horns come out of seperate peds. Chef is right, the score dosn't matter but I have people ask all the time and all I can give them is he was big.
