Got to be 400

Saw pictures today of another Utah monster. The hunter said they rough scored it at 395, but unless the picture is really misleading, it's got to be well over 400". I'm going to try to contact him tomorrow and ask if we can post the picture. He has 20+" 3's and a 7th kicker on both sides. Not sure the hunter will want to share the location either. Stay tuned.........

It is SM, and it's one beautiful bull, but he'd like to wait to post the pictures so you'll have to wait. I'd sure like to see that footage of him. How great would that be to have a bunch of video of a bull like that and the bull to go with it.

I was mostly on the West side of the unit. Going back Tuesday.

KingKong, I too ran into Four wheeler riders in a closed area. They left it running right in the middle of a logging road while they went to chase something. I took their keys and planned to call the forest service to come pick up their four wheeler, but lucky for them, I ran into them. I just told them they needed to take their four wheeler and get out of there. They were a couple of young kids, and I've done a few stupid things myself so couldn't bring myself to be too hard on them. If I had been hunting big bulls, don't think I would have been as understanding.

No rush, just four consecutive years in a row in the same area with people coming into an area that they no is closed. I'm just tired of it, and haven't gotten any response out of complaining to the forest service. Not sure how you view this as stealing. I'm sure the Forest service would have returned the key to them with a nice fine.

Spent four days hunting the Peaks with SM. He's one hell of a hunter. Showed me the pics of his bull and it is huge. I'd say he's a modest 395+ bull. Couldn't happen to a better guy.

That's right stick it to 'em. Next time have ole Bessy come down and tune those bad boys up....give me a break! Or do like KTC said, get numbers and contact the authorities. I don't know what's worse, people breaking the law or, what used to be, the law abiding citizen taking matters into his own hands. There is a time and place for intervention, but come on...taking keys to someones vehicle. How do you know the guys buddy wasn't all busted up down in the canyon, and they were getting him out?

bobcatbess, the biggest deer I ever shot was a doe at 45 yards with a 44 super redhawk. Funest kill I ever made. Handgun through the heart. I had a doe tag which ment someone smarter than me knew some does needed to be culled. I ate all the meat. It's not hanging on the walls with my other mounts but I put her to good use. If that makes me less of a hunter in your eyes I could care less. Leave herd management to people that know something more about it than you.
