Score Him?

Looked over this bull this morning. He had a small group of girls with him, but it sure is quiet out there.

The lowlight and loonnng distance is pretty deceiving as he looks a whole lot bigger in real life.

What do you think he'll go?

I would guess 330 or 340.

Can't see his brow tines real well, but I'd guess in the 330-340 range also.

Hmmm..... his beams are farely short and his thirds are too. He's just your common six point 320 is my guess.

Burnlounge is closest IMO. I'd put him at 320 tops, he just is lacking on a lot of the measurements that really big bulls have. That said he's more than good enough for me.

Nice bull. I would guess 330 gross 320 net. Nice shooter on a general hunt.

I would put him in the 315-320 range. Beam length and spread lead me to that conclusion, but since I can't see the brows too good he might have 20"ers. That would be sweet. We'll wait for the ground check and the score. Go get him....

I think where people are off is on his fronts, if you are giving his royals 18 and his fronts 20, i dont see it. Imagine that royal sitting down there, it would be much larger than his G1 and G2. I think his fronts are 13.

You're right and that photoshop picture helps to see those fronts better. I think the spread is closer to 35" and with those 1st-3rd's I would probably place right around 300. Shoot it.

I would add at least 20"-25" to the mass score you gave him.

That 25" is per side to get to 300. The more I look at it the 42" beam length I gave him is probably generous as well. He barely makes it to the back of his front shoulder with the tips of the main beam.

Like everyone has said he'd be a shooter in an open bull unit. I would surely pass and eat tag soup on a LE tag though.

My guess before reading anyones post was 310 7/8. I'll stick with it. Kill that bull and give us the score. If he is on a anybull unit hes a good one. If you drew a tag wait. Good hunting either way.

I don't think it'll be me with the "I got him" pics, but I'm sure someone will shoot him and I'll get you the official number.

I'll probably have some footage of him on the website soon and you can get a better look.

All of the weekend ATV traffic got them boogerd out of the canyon he was in, but I'm sure he'll be back by mid next week, or even better his BIG brother.
