384 Fish Lake bull

Very NICE bull! Give us the story!!

This bull was taken on Sept. 8 by a first time Elk hunter in a CWMU on the Fish Lake. Me and my best bud helped stock and call in several bulls for the hunter before this monster showed up. When I saw him I got week in the knees and felt like I couldn't breathe. I went back to my buddy and said Its the bull. He said should I put a bullet in my gun. I said YES as I was trying to breathe and stay on my feet. The bull was coming right to us through the oak and never gave us a good shot. He was all by himself. We moved down the ridge about 20 yards and he popped out of the oak at 45 yards. My first time hunter startded blasting away as I told him to keep shooting. The Heavy Weight went about fifty yards and fell over. What a rush. I love hunting and live for that natural high. He scored 384 with a heavy 68 inches of mass. I think this first timer is hooked and still doesn't quite know what he really harvested.

Great looking bull and congrats to the hunter, what is he going to do now for an encore? Don't listen to JB, he is just jealous the guy has more hair. LOL
