Ricky's Colorado Elk

Here's two bulls my nephew, Rick,, on the right, and his friend Dave took last week at a "ranching for wildlife" ranch.
Rick took his with one shot from his .270. He was set up on one bull and this one stepped out and this one was bigger. One shot, quartering away, he went 50 yards.
I guess you can kill an elk with a .270, it's Rick's second.

Those elk look like they need to be gutted, before they bloat too much. The one on the left is starting to bloat...
