Congrads Colorado Guy. Great looking Bull. Thats a good bull for that area. Never got anything on my email. Did you get him in the area you originally planned on hunting. How was the rest of the hunt? Did you see any better bulls and did you have alot of action. If you still have my phone give me a call. Would like to hear more.

This bull was taken in colorado unit 76. during the muzzle loader hunt. I want to thanks all the people here on MM that gave me information for my hunt.It was a great hunt lots of bulls but kinda slow on the bugling. This bull was taken tuesday the 12th it was the second day of my hunt. He responded to cow calls just before dark with several bugles, he was all by himself no cows. The area I was hunting was fairly open with scattered spruce trees with I used to my advantage once I got him talking.It was an amazing hunt. give me some score estimates guys just for fun!!!! And thanks to Brian for posting my pictures!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-22-06 AT 08:23PM (MST)[p]Real nice 4's, 3's and 5's a little weak. 300 to 310-ish is my guess (and I must emphasize "guess"). Don't get all hung up on the score though like some guys might. Any bull elk is a trophy in my book.

Great bull though, especially with a ML. Congrats!!!

Im the guy who films elk in76. Saw your Tacoma pu
parked along the road. I filmed this bull in the summer
and ranked him in the top 8 that I filmed. The bugles
were very slow at the start of muz. Not as many
elk as usual in the spot where you went. We hunted that
spot last year opening day muz. Roy in Montrose and
snowed out at moment in 76.

thanks for all your guesses and comments guys Griz was closest. This bull rough scored 315 gross. And by the way that was a great bull Griz posted also. Rocketman I ended up hunting the other side of unit 76 I only drove thru the spot we discussed. Wish I could have found you to visit and say thanks. Tim
