any body had sucess in wy 19

i was wondering on if anybody has been seeing very many elk in 19 this year. my dad has been trying to get my grandpa and uncle elk during the bow season but the elk just arnt where they usually are. all that they have seen for bulls is one or two spikes and one six point that would score well below 300. a buddy of mine killed a pig opening weekend down low but that is the only elk i have heard being killed up there. so i was wondering if any of you had heard or seen any thing yet. any help would be appreciated.

I know what you mean, While I am not hunting in the area you are. In the Snowies the elk sure are hunkered down and not doing much of anything. Good luck and hopefully the elk will start talking soon.

A guy named Steve stuck a 397 gross bull about two weeks ago up there. He had it over at the Sportsman Warehouse parking lot bragging it up...

nd he kind of lucked out on getting him. he was on some state land that you got to walk to to get to hunt. he knew the elk where there but how he got the elk someone on a four wheeler went by and spooked the elk and he seen the cows coming so he got ready and the bull came out and stoped at sixteen yards broadside and he shot it. he was extremly luckey the bull stopped and turned otherwise all he would of had was a facing shot.
