Youth hunt success!

The Utah youth elk hunt was awesome. The girl that I was trying to help got an invite to hunt some private ground. I think the landowner didn't want elk eating his alfalfa. The landowner said that she would probably get one. Right when we got there we saw a herd of elk out in the alfalfa. We hiked up the road and got about 200 yards from the elk and she missed a nice 6x6. Then a few hours later we spotted a spike and she shot it from 250 yards. She was very excited. I am very happy for her. I hope my turn comes soon.

I think the smiles tell it all! I just got back to Alaska last night after chasing some bulls around with my boy on the south slope during the Youth Hunt. I'm hoping to get my own write up. It was an exciting hunting experiece 4 sure.

Women love me!! Fish shudder at the mention of my name!!
It's not the quack but the flight of the wild duck that leads the flock to destiny!!
Quack Away!!

As I mentioned to you in my email, this is awesome. Helping out the youg lady was a wonderful thing to do. It's very exciting helping others be successful, you get as much of a rush, if not more, than the successful hunter. We'll talk later!
