Iam going to be hunting the plateau,Fishlake Unit and was wondering if anyone has been up there for the limited entry and seen any spikes in the area. If so could some give me the direction in which to go or where would be best to go. This will be my first elk. Iam hopeing I will get one. Thanks

I bow hunted that area for muleys, I saw alot of Elk in a few areas. One spot you may want to look at is near the border of Johnson CWMU. There were a ton of elk over there not too long ago, a good number of spikes. Get youself a map and find those beavers ponds on the southwest side of the private and set up in one of those basins, on the opening day those elk will be running to the private. Good luck and shoot to kill.

Go Wolverines! I like their chances with pullin the upset against the Buckeys at the horseshoe later in the year!

Hunt Browns Hole and Antones hollow. Will be a lot of company on the roads. Get of in the canyons. Go low on the Oak Ridge Road and fourwheeler trail then get of in the canyons. Lots of elk.

I was scouting around during the middle of Sept. and saw several spikes off the Niochte Canyon ATV trail. Head down the east side, park and walk off the ridge at several different spots. You'll see elk for sure. Saw a couple spikes within sight of the powerline. Don't forget your camcorder for the 6pts you'll see.
