I was driving to work last month and saw a herd with 2 nice bulls right off of 111 near the Bacucs (spelled wrong I am sure) Gravel Pit. Haven't seen them since but have been out of town for 2 weeks. Today another guy I work with said 1 of the bulls was hit by a car last week and was lying in the ditch all day! It surprises me that if this is true that it went to waste. I wouldn't mind filling my freezer with elk road kill. Do I only have half the story? What is the UT policy on that type of deal? NDHunter.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-28-06 AT 06:06PM (MST)[p]It's a no-no. Call the DWR but don't touch it unless you are pulling off to the side. If you take anything it is considered poaching, Unless you have a valid elk tag, it during the season specified on he tag and it is in your area and you must tag it. If it's a L.E. unit you have better have a L.E. tag for a branched bull. You're tag may even have to be an any weapon tag.

You have got to be schitin me, Where the hell are you from? Road kill.
Hmm I hear redneck jokes about this kind of stuff, I thought they were just schitin me but I guess people realy do this stuff.
