Broken main beam in spike unit

I seen a 6 piont bull with his main beam broken off just after is first tine would that be legal in a spike only unit??

As long as one side had a lone point that is 1 inch long or longer.... Yes It is considered a spike.

Exactly, remember a few years ago the SLC Sheriffs deputy that killed a 5pt in a spike only and then shot off the points...dummy got busted, of course.
