Shot this bull on the fourth day of my hunt this year. I had passed on a 4X5 and a couple of spikes. Had been seeing some really good bulls, but had only 2 days left to hunt. I had decided any 5-point or better was going to get shot this day, and any bull the next.
Got into a lot of bulls that morning, wind was wrong but they were coming up a draw with the wind blowing down, perfect ambush except for the wind. Got down by the creek and it was pulling the wind into it, we had a chance.
My cousin was with me to video, and yes we got it all on film. Have not gotten it off the tape yet, will post when I do.
The bull went by at 40 yards uphill, had to do some moving to get there. Stopped him with a cow call by mouth, put the 30 pin on him and let her go. He crashed off stumbling and did not go 50 yards. I hit him perfect. Took the top off his heart, complete pass through, never found the arrow. 100 grain Rocky mountain Titaniums, Matthews bow.

Scored 317ish, with a 3 1/2" g5, and only a 12" g4 on the same side, also had a 2" devil point on his browtine. Was pretty excited to get this bull. Love that archery hunting.

Sorry you had to sacrifice and shoot that bull. NOT. Nice score. That's a beautiful bull.

Definately not an "any bull" was thrilled to see this guy coming through the trees, I figured I probably was not going to get one this year.

Nice bull , how did your other hunts go? Still waitng for some pictures we got our moose on opening day so didnt get out much.

WOW!!! The MM is producing some real trophy bulls lately, and I am sure they will only increase in size over the next few years. Sounds like you and D had a great time down there this year. Its good to see that place produce some big animals, although extremely sad that I will most likely never get to hunt there again . Congrats on another great bull!!

Great Bull Nice story and good for you. Nothing like a last min bull.

Women love me!! Fish shudder at the mention of my name!!
It's not the quack but the flight of the wild duck that leads the flock to destiny!!
Quack Away!!

Would love to make it back. Maybe I'll draw that bear tag this year. Maybe I'll sell my house and buy a tag, have thought about it. Got some great footage, maybe we'll have to see how it goes. Nothing the size we saw while hunting together, never forget it.

Prism, I was hunting the place you hunted in your NE #2 video, at least I am pretty sure I was. I have met and seen your buddy Ash a few times down there. Some good bulls seen this year.
