Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness (CO)

Getting pumped for 1st Rifle. Anybody know if the snow is staying or melting?

We will be camping in the 9500'-10000' so I'm expecting some snow but was wondering if it was sticking in the parks/meadows.

Had a storm a few weeks ago and the snow stuck. As of last weekend it had melted away up past 10k, except in the shade. A mixture of rain/snow has been falling for the last four days. The snow from this weather pattern is not really sticking until you get above 10k. Have fun
