LAST EDITED ON Oct-22-06 AT 10:55PM (MST)[p]GREAT BULL, will be waiting for the story too. Congrats to the hunter.
What type of call is that hanging around the hunters neck?????
Thanks for the comments guys. I shot this bull on the Utah LE Pahvant hunt. I was looking for one just a bit larger than this one. However, when a bull like this presents himself to you at just 8 yards, Yes 8 yards!! It's kinda of hard to keep your finger off the trigger. It took almost 45 minutes to call him in. I almost passed on him until a saw the great thirds and fourths. I called him in mostly by bugling (Mossback's Full Throttle Bugle) I think that's what his going to call it. He wasn't really responding to the cow calls, (Primos Hot Lips with tone converter & Mossback's Widow Maker) Hey Wil & Doyle if you two read this I want some kick-backs for andvertising! LOL
This was one of the funnest hunts i've been on in a real long time. I scouted my unit every weekend starting in June. I had a couple of friends who drew out this same unit for Archery and Muzzleloader. Hunted 12 days with the archery hunter and had the time of our lives. I wish all those good luck on next years draw of a lifetime, and if anyone draws this unit and needs some help or information feel free to call on me. I would be willing to hang with anyone who draws next year on this unit.
Thanks for posting the pics Brandon: aka 200incher. If any of you think this bull is nice, make sure you check out the one he shot on this unit. Awesome Bull!!! "Sportsman's elk tag filled"
