Heading out early in the morning for 18 day's of hopefully "Cast and Blast". Gonna start with treestand blacktail for a couple of day's outside of Randle, then a day of fishing for silver's on the Cowlitz, then 3 day's scouting for elk in the Toutle, then up to 5 day's elk hunting the Toutle unit, then stop off at the regular elk camp in Randle to visit the boy's for a night, then 7 day's hunting for bighorn sheep at Cleman's Mt. Got myself 2 "once-in-a-lifetime" tag's in my pocket(elk and sheep), a truck full of fuel,food and gear,a favorable weather forecast (15 for a low in Naches next week!) and a low snow level, an understanding wife,a couple of extremely energetic young (30ish) co-worker's that are taking valueable vacation time to assist (on the sheep hunt)(eye's,back's,campfire storie's and basic general hunting camp stuff). I just finished packing and came in to checkout the forum before bed and just had to blow. Not bragging at all just letting some of it out. Not much hope for solid sleep tonight. Hopefully it'll be a great trip and I can post some pic's (never did that before) and a story. Take care,Patrick.
