Need help with AZ hunt

I have a cow hunt in Az. Units 15A ,15B,17A,17B,18A,18B,,19A,19B, 20A & C I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can give. That is such a huge area and I am wondering if anyone has hunted in that area recently and seen any elk. Thank you

If your driving down south from Ash Fork, look on the
right side of the road, as there are openings in the
PJ forest. There are a lot of elk in these parts.
Also towards an area called the 'Red Hat'. This
is before you drop down into the Big Chino.

There sure was a lot of sign in this area, and was in other areas also, but showed no promises. There was a big bull at the Red Hat, but couldn't locate him. I passed up a lot of elk along that right side of the highway though.
Also, going scouting with a friend who's son has a youth deer tag in 18B I believe that starts in a couple of weeks and will keep a look out also.

I'll ask a couple of friends of mine that are hunting in the unit for bull elk. One of them took a 360+ bull recently so I'm sure they saw other elk. I'll send the info to your PM box...if they offer up!

shedrag i also have that same tag and have already hunted that area south of ashfork the elk have been jumping back into 8 before daylight i hunted it hard for 5 days seen more elk on the bar1x ranch i think thats the name but on there north fence line i just dont like jumping elk i cant see, did find a 400 bull in camp wood sure sucked to have a cow tag then god i could not belive it he just stood there for me and my dad to admire, i plan on waiting till the snow falls.

I've seen pics of the bull, but haven't had them passed to me yet. I don't think I'm going to get them until the hunt is over as there's another tag or two unfilled and these hunters are very cautious about any intel "leaking". They did relay that they are seeing very few antlerless elk in the areas they are hunting.

They'll let me post some photos when their hunt is over with. they are not seeing lots of elk and they are having to work to find bulls in this country, but isn't that the way it's supposed to be, as it's not unit 9 ya know!
