been gone a bit....staying 'on the mountain' watchin' 'bone'...found a decent bull for a young lad whom drew one of the 7 big bull tags for our area...he missed the first 5 days of the hunt, the best days,. ..and arrived on saturday morning, also the opener of general season. the past thursday, i found what i figured was a decent bull, one that he might 'go for'....stayed with him again on friday, then early saturday morning when the 'shooter' showed up, i told him where we might go to find this nice bull. he was all for it. he passed up a good 6x6 on the way in...well, the bull was where he was supposed to be.....and he's still there. 'shooter' had a bad case of 'misses', and that's pretty much the end of the story. he had to leave, even though he had another week to hunt. i was kinda of discouraged, but hey, what the heck....it was his tag, he had fun, and i might be able to find those sheds come march....we did have some 'good luck' though, but you'll have to check the 'shed forum' for those pics....anyway, here's some pics of the bull i call 'my bull', cuz i figure anyone that sees him will say, "that's my bull"...he has 8 points on each side, including 2 1" to 2" stickers. he isn't very 'long tined', but they are very thick....first pic is from thursday when i first found him...next pics are from friday....sorry, no saturday pics....
