I have found that they do. If you get Kings Outdoor World calendar they have a great system marked every month that list the best abd good times to hunt. Like this weekend is according to them going to be a good time to hunt. Now this being the first year I have used their calendar it has worked so far and I have seen game on those days marked and good or best. So I will keep using it to see if it brings me some success

Recently, there was a discussion on this website in regard to midday hunting. That's when I began exploring the lunar charts. Nice to know other hunters find them useful.

Most critters are controlled by the moon, weather and atmospheric pressure.

My GPS tells me when the best times are to hunt and fish. The best times are when my wife is not in the mood.

While lunar charts can be a good thing to use, remember that they don't include anything about the weather. If the weather changes for the worst, the lunar charts are no good. I experienced this last week while hunting when those snow storms came through CO.

For me - the best times are when I have time. If I can possibly schedule a fishing trip however, I do try and do it when the solunar tables indicate the fishing is better, that and I will do all I can to sneak out before a high pressure front comes through or - or right on its heels. A change in the weather either way determines what the critters do to a great extent. Generally if you have a lot of time and can get out and scout an area ahead of time, you can see the patterns of the animals in all phases of the moon and in different types of weather.

I have a Magellan SporTrak. I don't know what criteria it uses to determine times but it does it. It list times for hunting /fishing together. Today it's 9:50am to 11:50am.
