The officials said that even before Trump took office in January, Gen. John Nicholson had standing authority to use the bomb, which is officially called the Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb, or MOAB, the largest non-nuclear bomb ever dropped in combat. The bomb, dropped by a special operations MC-130 aircraft, had been in Afghanistan since January.

The officials weren't authorized to speak publicly on the matter and requested anonymity.

First quarter The Federal government took in a record amount of tax revenue and still ran a deficit. The treasury burned through $280 billion in cash on hand in three months. Trump's budget cuts zero spending, it just moves it all to more war. He vowed to not touch the drivers of our debt.

So far his legislative wins add up to a big nothing burger. Remember to explain to your grand kids why a simple majority in the Senate was all that was needed to confirm radical anti second amendment justices to the Supreme court. History says republicans won't always be in power and all you are happy about now, will come back to haunt you.

Really, how many people would have voted for him if he said that Repeal and Replace Obamacare would take more than a year, or that Tax reform would even get it's first hearing in congress until well after summer and perhaps not at all in 2017. On foreign policy he knew almost zero and shown no real inclination to learn. For an American president to say that he learned about the North Korean issues from a Chines Premier is shocking at best and a laughing stock at worst. Suppose the Chines premier has a different take that issue?
