PATIENTS ALWAYS PAY!!!

AT THE DR.!!!

AT THE DENTIST!!!

YOU'RE PASSING 360" BULLS???

REMEMBER THESE AIN'T ALASKAN MOOSE!!!

THE ONLY bobcat THAT FAILED ALL ENGLISH CLASSES BUT I BELIEVE ITS PATIENCE YOU NEED & GOOD LUCK,IT USUALLY DOES PAY,BUT NOT ALWAYS!!!

Darnit! I even used spell check, proper spelling, just not the right word.

life IS good (and Im hoping to see if 370 bull steak is better than tag soup!)

IT'S 'WEIGH' BETTER!!!

I THINK???

ktc & A FEW OTHERS KNOW!!!

THE ONLY bobcat 'WEIGHTING' FOR THE OUTCOME!!!

You are crazy to pass up a 360" bull.

When I draw a tag, the first 360" that crosses my path is DEAD.

Good luck on your 370" bull. I hope you don't have major regrets....

I wont have any regrets, I never have. You can always hunt a hunt better afterwards. Ive never been a "should have, could have" person. If Im meant to get my bull, I will. Everyone has a goal, if I dont reach it this year, maybe it will be next. besides my freezer is always full with a bunch of archery does. (whitetails that is) Sorry BOBCAT

life IS good (and time WILL tell)

why pass up a 360" looking for a 370"? 10" of horn is hardly over 4% more horn. Think about it....that is less then 1" per tine on a 6x6 bull not even taking mass into consideration. I dont understand people who only hunt for a speficic number. 99% of people would never notice that less then 1" per tine. Anyhow, good luck.

Its a goal, thats all. I wont be disapointed if it dosent happen this year. A forkhorn muley was a goal when I was a kid. Whats the difference between a forkhorn and a three point? One tine on each side, maybe 10" total? Hmmmm. See what Im saying? That first forkhorn buck will be as big of a "trophy" to me as the bull Im looking for, (if I take one) Its all relative.

life IS good

Good luck finding the bull you want. I was in unit 410 looking around on sunday and Monday and seen a couple of nice bulls. it felt like it was 60 degrees on Monday. Hope the weather cools down a little and then the bulls might start moving more.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

I KNOW YOU'RE GOOD!!!

CUZZ LIFE IS GOOD!!!

BUT!!!

I DOUBT IN EVERY INSTANCE YOU COULD SAY THAT IS A 370" BULL VERSUS A 360" BULL!!!

SOMTIMES LIFE IS HARD!!!

I'VE SPENT A DAY OR TWO IN THE WOODS BUT TO TELL 10" OF BULL ONE WAY OR THE OTHER IS TOUGH!!!

THE ONLY bobcat THINKING LifeIsGood MUST BE GOOD!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Youre right BOBCAT. Wait, what did I just say? BOBCATS right? In all reality you ARE right, Im not positive one of the bulls I saw last week wasnt 370 nor can I be sure the 370 bull I shoot (if I do) is not 360. I would still be one happy camper if it was.
Part of the challenge with being selective is getting a good long look at the animals headgear before pulling the trigger or releasing an arrow. This has cost me more than one big muley (course they all look bigger running away)
Hopefully BOBCAT I see a bull tomorow that I dont have to give a second guess to. You know, one of those "HOLY #####" bulls!

life IS good (and passing bulls is fun too)

Lifeisgood, here's wishing you the best of luck. If 370 is your mark, then go for it. I hope you drop a 385, and have to worry about filing off 15"
Good luck.

I have faith in you, let's see those pictures when you return, I'm in the same boat, I am sitting back home in IL enjoying
T-day with my family with the MT elk supertag still in my pocket, between my archery hunt in the elkhorns and my visit to the buffer zone last week I have looked over more mature bulls this fall than I have in 10 previous years of elk hunting, I have passed on some big, big bulls, it's been a super fall so far. I plan on being in Gardiner for a week this Januray, just now trying to figure out when I should plan the trip. I'm not real familiar with that hunt so I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it. Even if I wind up killing a lessor bull than some of the bulls I passed I also will have no regrets, I certainly have gotten my monies worth on this tag. In between I was able to harvest a great mule deer on the AZ Strip, a 6X6 that scored over 203"s.
Good Luck Life is Good

life IS good...hang in there buddy! Actually tag soup isn't that bad. If you want a 370 bull, hold out for a 370 bull. I have absolutely no regrets on passing some smaller bulls with my tag. Don't listen to these guys telling you you're crazy. The only regret you will have is taking something that "settle" on. If it's a 330 bull you are after great, don't settle for a 300 bull. If it's a 370 bull you're after don't settle for anything less. Good luck and keep us posted. I will be anxiously awaiting your successful post! I am hoping that tag soup goes good with whitetail meat. I will find out next week.

It's always an adventure!!!

It's saturday and I haven't got the call yet (lifeisgood) Remember the tag is yours and you hunt it and use exactly the way you want. You should never pull the trigger and walk up to the animal and go OHHH NOOOO!!!! This supposed to be a sport were we have fun and not worry about the what the next guy thinks about what we pull into the check station with. ( though it was fun a couple years ago with elk racks tied to the top of the trailer and having woman in Colorado pass us honking the horn and giving us the thumbs up ( I think it was their thumbs). Anyway JD when you drop that bull in Gardiner the main thing I bet you remember is the fact that you got to hunt two of the best areas in the State of Montana in the same day. NO ONE can say that they have done that before. PLus all the people you met along the way (dip$#!%$ and good guys)
2006 hunting season shall soon be over but the meories last a life time.
HNTNHRD ( for oryx in two months)

Day 14..... Spot, stalk ect....

Ill fill yall in later on the "rest of the story" (after I rest)

life IS good
