NV elk lost backpack 222

Hey guys, i hunted elk in unit 222 last week. Shot my bull opening day packed it out the next day (all by myslef) left in a rush to get home for the wifes birthday. Got home and could not locate my Badlands 2200 backpack. Either i left it at my camp site or somehow it jumped ship on the ride home? The pack itself is not that important to me but 2 items inside were. An old bone handle knife from my grandfather and a cigar case from a close friend witht the initials bp on it. If anyone found the pack keep it and the WY saw and other items but please return those 2 items. I camped just off highway 93 about 2 miles north of the Geyser Ranch up the main dirt road about another 2 miles or so in the PJ. Lost it on Nov 12.......so has been a few days, didnt think to post until now. Solo hunt was tough, nice symetrical 6x6 scored just over 300 not the monster but will be a fine addition to the wall with memories of a good hunt. thanks in advance to the kind soul that finds a good pack.

sorry you lost your pack, but congrats on the bull. had a friend hunting that area for muzzleloader will ask him when i get back to work tomorrow if he saw it or found it. i had a late rifle tag in 162 and just got back myself. likewise, scored a 300 bull on the last day of my trip. no trophy, but will make a nice wall hanger. took him to Hagen's for a shoulder mount. after 19 years of trying for a tag i decided i'd settle for less than i wanted. have seen some nice pics of some large bulls on this site. most are bigger than mine. will try and post a pic of mine if i can get it figured out.

We were just out there this weekend in that exact same spot trying to get a bull for my Father-in-law. Sorry that I cant tell you that I found your pack, wish I could.

We ended up getting my father-in-law (73 years old) a nice bull that ended up going just over 350 with some broken tines. We had a good time. I will most likely be going back out there with my camera to see if I can get some photos and will make sure to keep looking around for your pack.

Hope someone can find it.

PM me and let me know where you got your bull and I will run out there and see what I can find.

Congrats on the bull......I'm heading there with some friends on Thurs and may be camped close to there. I don't have the tag (buddy does), if you get me close, I'll take a look also. PM or gps if you got 'em.

Thanks for the support guys. I dont have the GPS location of the camp site..........I can always find camp, sometimes cant find my rear end with both hands. Anyway its, the first camp spot on the left side of the road about 1 1/2 to 2 miles off the highway. Again 2 miles north of Geyser Ranch off Hwy 93. Good luck, this is practice for that easter egg hunt, hope someone here finds the pack.
