Idaho 2006 Elk Hunt Pictures.

We didn't get any bull tags this year, but i wish we would have. Seen at least 10 340 plus caliber bulls this year. Had eight cow tags, and filled all of them on opening day. Managed to shoot a small 2x3 buck on the last day of the season. All and all, we seen probably between 200 and 250 head of elk. I hope that the wolves continue to stay away. Anyways here is some pictures of this years hunt..

The first kill of the hunt..a 2x3 buck. Deer are pretty few and far between after deer season opens, so we felt lucky to get this one

Well i'm not sure if the wolves are in there or not. We cover alot of country, and we've built a pretty good relationship with a rancher, that lets us across some of his ground. He has yet to see any, or loose any cattle to any wolves yet. I won't give specific units..but the beaverhead region.
