my first attempt at posting a pic. Don't know how to get it any bigger. Only had 3 days to hunt and found this descent bull.

Hard to see how big it is but I would shoot in a minute. Nice bull, lets here the rest of the story!!

The bull scores a little over 290. From what people have told me it is a pretty good bull for oregon, and also my first elk. My wife was able to accompany me even though she is 6 months pregnant. Couldn't convince her to rest. I was able to stalk within 60 yards and made a perfect shot.

A lot of people have also told me that this bull looks at least 300. I scouted pretty hard and as I mentioned in a previous post found some pretty good bulls. The biggest being around 340. Thanks to the MM members who replied it was a big help. Not much of a story to tell. We spotted him across a deep gorge and put a good stalk on him. All of the bulls seemed sore from the rut. They didn't want to travel very far from feeding and bedding areas.
