We put the smack down on 4 cows, We had 4 cow tags and had a great time. Saw lots of good bucks, rut just kicking off, Not any real big boys, but some shooters for sure. Later Bill

Bill , sounds like you guys had agreat hunt. My brother also shot a cow there. He works in unit 2 so he knew where the elk were, saw some nice bulls to, but he just hunts cows.

We had a blast all my family showed-up, great visiting like a family renunion, Smoked some elk had a great time like Christmas come early. My 300 RUM still works. Later Bill

Congrats. It isn't easy hunting cows with all the eyes, ears, and noses and to go 4 for 4 is great.

I only saw 3 bulls on my cow hunt one dead in the back of a truck, pretty nice 6x6 probally 310" or so. And two little ones with the cows, a spike and a little raghorn. I don't know what's up with the late bull hunt. I have seen sone real whoppers at thet time of the year. Later Bill

Yeah I saw they took that hunt out . Its too bad,I know alot of guys who love the late season hunts...

Waiting for an invite, Nobody will invite me to UTAH so I have to hunt in NM, I personally feel leftout. But it is ok I see how it is! Bill
