Elk hunt advice for '07

Guys, My brother and I are looking to go on an elk hunt next fall. We have deer hunted in Colorado, but really have no preference about which state. We want to use an outfitter, rifle hunt, and have a reasonable chance at a good bull without paying a king's ransom. I guess I want it all, huh? Oh well, if anyone has any good advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You are brave to come on here and admit you want to use an outfitter with all the bashing of them around here lately!
Check out the booths at the huntexpo in January and that will give you a pretty good idea of who produces! There are a lot of good outfitters, especially with the quality of bulls we have had lately...
