I am wondering if any of you have made muley hunting resolutions for 2004. I'm going on hunts in at least 2 states and may end up on a Canadian hunt. I'm also going back to "my roots" and am going to hunt above timberline again. I've already started training and got a new backpack for Christmas. It's a long time until the season, but I'm already fired up. What about all of you??

Last year I relaly slacked off...i did very little pre-season scouting. I did little to noe pre-season conditioning.....and I didnt spend nearly enough time at the shooting range.

Now I was successful oin both hunts(elk and deer), and each were one shot kills....but I wont always have it as easy as I did this year.

My resolution is to spend at least one of my days off each week starting in June-July scouting the region where I hunt. I am aslo going to put together a work out regiment to better prepare me for a high country hunt this year. I am also going to apply to states outside of Utah. I am going to dedicate 45-60 minutes a day to shooting my bow each day (once all this snow melts), and Im going to hit the shooting(rifle) range at least once a week starting in August.

Mine is to forget about whities and make sure that I get to hunt late archery mulies around Chelan! I screwed around this year and wound up having to hunt whities again. This is the first in 18 years that I have been skunked! I got too f-ing picky. It gives me more incentive to go after a monster mulie buck next season!!!

My 2004 resolution is the same as it was in 2003. It take a
4 X 4 mulie buck! Turning down the little ones is getting old.

Searchin' for a 4 X 4

My resolution this year is to get one......duh, stated the obvious. I would really love to be able to spend more time scouting this year and save my pennies to get another pack horse.
