Has anyone been out here this winter? If so how are the elk and sheep looking? Any pics to show on the board? I normally make it over there but wasn't able to this year.

There are quite a few animals and lots of mediocre bulls. Not really any slammers this year so far. Quite a few you would have loved to have put that tag on, but no real slammers. There are several with kicker points that are pretty cool. I'll see if I can drum up some pics here for ya.
I saw a couple sheep that looked pretty awesome to me. Again, no slammers, but definitely ones I would call a trophy.

I just drove through there yesterday, there was a couple good ones, lots of bulls and the spike hunters sure didnt do very good cause there was ALOT of spikes in the herd. One spike had a normal horn and the other one was like coming out of its forehead, looked like a unicorn.

Pics would be cool, I personnally don't think the elk harvest was very high this year in that part of the state.

Were exactly could I go to see this. That looks pretty cool. Thats gotta be on the eastern side of 12 near Naches right?

The junction of 410 and hwy 12. go down 12 to the main parking area or pull over at the junction. there's usually more elk at the main area. if you head north? i think at the intersection up that road a ways there is a sheep feeding station too. if you're coming from naches you'd take a right to the sheep feeding station

Here are a couple of the biggest bulls I could find in the bunch.

Thanks for posting the pics, some nice bulls in there and lots that I would have gladly notched the tag on, oh well wasn't meant to be I suppose.

I was over there a couple weeks ago and the elk #'s were low, don't know if the snow wasn't at that critical point?

The sheep on the other hand, this was the largest group I have seen, probably pushing 100 head. At least a dozen 3/4 curl and a couple brutes pushing full curl.
