Anyone interested in commenting on the proposed changes for Idaho F&G rules for the 2004 season needs to have it done by January 9th. The location is in the "What's News" section of the Idaho F&G website. I have attached the link below. Hopefully, I have done it correctly.

There are a couple of proposals of interest. One which deletes the 65% let off for archery and one allowing the use of 209 primers as ignition sources for muzzleloaders. Another which basically forbids "high fence" hunts in the state unless approved by the Director. Another would allow residents to purchase more than 1 left over "non-resident" tag for deer and elk, should they desire to do such.

Happy New Year to all.

I filled it out. some things good and some things bad but all in all they sounded good to me. just cant wait till the fall to use them.

Heres what I can't stand about these rule changes, specifically the archery and muzzleloader regs are that they aren't based upon what IDFG feels is best, but are instead based on what manufacteurs are producing. It really bothers me on the muzzleloader more than anything. Whats next allowing scopes? Why not allow single shot rifles during muzzleloader season?

Residents have been able to buy a 2nd nonresident tag for a couple years already. Nonrsidents can too.
