im wondering on what camo pattern to use in utahs country
out of mossy oak new break up, seclusion 3d, and advantage timber please write back with advice thanks

I wouldnt choose any of those, try looking at www.truesage.com they have some real affordable whisper cloth sage camo that is light but sheds water. I am using it and really like it......hope this helps........... Allen Taylor......

I second predator camo. I have used it from timberline to sage flats with good results.

I think there is no substitute for hunting smart.
Yes, camo can help a little, but if by law you have to wear orange,it's effect will be dimminished.
By using the terrain, the wind direction and the sun to your advantage, you will tip the odds in your favor far greater than any camo pattern will help you.

I agree Harry, but I think when you have a buck at 10-20 yds looking right at you when archery hunting, camo could play a pretty good sized role. I know you were talking about rifle or muzzleloader hunter where orange is required, sorry, not trying to start anything. ugh, I'll stop now.

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

You can get by with wearing drab clothing, but some of the camo looks neat. Depending on state you are going to cover part of it with blaze orange anyway.
Mainly just watch the wind, don't move and just hunt.

I third BUra...I've switched to using truesage camo and I LOVE IT! Since using it, my success has increased with my bow hunting. I've tagged 3 out of 4 in this past season. It's a great blend of light and dark colors and breaks up your outline well...which is what we're trying to do! It also works well in the high timber. Duwane Adams is using it and 8 out of 9 of his archery elk hunters tagged out using this camo this past Sept. The 9th hunter shot every arrow he had and went home empty handed...shooters error...but the camo worked perfectly!

Hope this helps...
