Anyone have any info on unit 17, Walden, CO area for elk? What to expect? How many points needed to draw a m/l or early rifle tag? Thanks for any advice.
I just looked in the 2006 books and there was NO Muzzleloader tags for 17. For Rifle in 17 the earliest hunt would be the 1st season and it was for "either sex" Elk. They issued 80 tags and had 133 appl's and the PP to draw for Resident/Non-Res. was zero.
2007 season for first hunt: Oct. 13-17th
Is is also a CWD unit too.
New book due out in March to show what the point/points needed for all hunts.
