which one would be better???

Hey everyone, I am planning on purchasing a spotting scope within the next few weeks. Which is better the

15-45 with 60mm.
or the
20-60 with 80mm.

Any advice woul be very helpful!! THANKS

First it will depend on the quality of the scope. If you purcahse a cheap scope with a high power eye piece it will have poor clarity especially at the higher power. Buy the best scope you can afford even if it's the lower power scope.

i agree with wes. if you buy leica or swarovski, then get the higher powered (20-60) optics. if you buy a second tier scope the lower power (15-45) would be better. it also depends on what your using it for. if you are packing in or dont want lots of weight. you need to consider the weight and amount of space the scope would use up. let us know what you bought and how you like it.
