Awfully quiet on this forum so here are some picts a friend took of some local bulls that wander around the open space behind his house.

Not bad for CO suburban elk.
What do your think the 7x7 would score?

Not all who wander are lost!

You must live near HR, I have been watching these bulls for about a month. The 6 point that is broken is the biggest of them all.

My guess on the 7x7 is 320 - 330, with decent nutrition this spring and summer he should be much nicer come Sept. 07

Thanks for the pics . This really brings to light the development plight !!!

That's the HR herd alright. Nice to have some local critters to look at once in a while. You ever go up on the trail above the HS and glass the cherokee ranch?

Yes, I do. There are some huge bulls there.

Good ol daniels park area, i miss it! Biggest bulls I have ever seen come less than an hour from downtown denver! Too bad the bull/cow ratio is so out of wack.
When I worked for CDOW in Fort collins a bull came in from that unit and had a big hole in his side that was green and festered that a hunter shot, he weighed 700 pounds and was a beast, i could only imagine the bull that took him on.
My aunt and uncle live near the big ranchhouse at the s. end of HR.
Great pictures!
