I have never hunted in Wyoming before but plan on going this year with my dad. We are applying for Region B on the far eastern side of the state. We have acquired access to a large ranch that seems to have produced quite well in the past. I was hoping you guys and gals could give us a little heads up on what we are in for. Thanks.

Have you ever heard of the "Wyoming wind sock"? It's a 6 foot length of logging chain.

haha! If you only want to hunt the ranch, see if you can get a "Land Owner Sponsorship" It almost garuntee's you get a tag. That's what you can do in Montana, I don't know about Wyo though.

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Tag Should be no problem getting in that area. I hunt region C every year around Gillette. Lot's of Bucks in that country. But you have to hunt real hard for the big ones.(depending on hunting pressure)If your hunting private and it is managed and protected well you should do great. Start practicing shooting milk jugs of water at 200 and 300 hundred yards.(Typical shot distance)And get the best pair of binoculars you can afford. Good Luck.
