Too bad that pic wasn't in black and white. It could be a classic. I love those old meatpole pics. Nice stringer you guys got there. What state were those dandy's taken.

Thanks Guys, these bucks came from NE Wyoming on the Heart X Ranch were I work as guide. I got lot's of great buck photo's I'm excited about posting. I think I'm going to have to get another computer though to make the wife stop griping.
 
Nice pic, for sure. But I've always wondered about hanging bucks up by their heads. I've never done that and most of the pics I've seen of bucks hanging by their heads were from back east. Can you explain what you do with a buck that's hanging by his head? I would know know how to start working on him.
 
ICMDEER, we hang'em by the head because our taxidermist said if you hang too long upside down it makes it harder to cape out, something about all the blood in the head not good on the skin. As far getting the meat off it is a little easier the other way. But we got a good pulley system on the meatpole.
