i hunted this past falll on the national grasslends in thunder basin we only say one good deer but we were hunting late in the season thae last weekend and my freind charles missed the buck it was his first deer hunt and he got a little buck fever. lots of elk in the area but few tages we hunted most of the area unknowing of what is there and where we can hunt but with this being the first time into the area we didn't really know where to hunt but prepare your self for a lot of hicking in steep hills.
as for hunting the medicine bow area i've growm up hunting that area and it as lots of good bucks deer and goats. and awsome bulls.this area if you know the area probly has an average of 140-170 class bucks around 24-28 wide.lots of public lands to hunt some timberd and rimrock and sage flates it has it all with any luck this would be a greatarea for you to hunt in.
