I'm thinking of buying a Tikka T-3, or Whitetail Hunter in 7 mm. mag. Any pro or con info. will be appreciated. I believe they sell from $475-$550. Cheap, or great quality for the money?

very good gun, very accurate and a totally funtional gun, I sold mine to buy the 7WSM, now just today I'm thinking about buying another Tikka 7 mag, I'm just gonna give my winchester to my kid...it's weird this was posted today...kool..

Excellent rifle for the money. I had to break mine in with about 40 rounds before it zeroed in. But now its there.

Tikka is a good choice. I own a 25.06 and it shoots sweet. One of the smoothest actions you can get out of a box. I've moved some bolt actions on some very expensive rifles and there is a clear difference in the smoothness. You cant go wrong with a fair price and an accurate gun. headbones.

RE: Tikka rifles

Hey Manny 15- can you give me some info. on where to buy the rifle at that price? Thanks.

Ridgedrifter,
My buddy has that gun in 7mm. He loves it. Never shot anything big with it, but has killed many a tree squirrel with it and tells me it is very accurate!!
You don't happen to know the Montana Drifter do ya?
